The relatives prepare food with ingredients that are blood-building, immune-boosting, anti-inflammatory, and that help in the healing process. They are drawn from medicinal knowledge passed down from generation to generation between the women in each culture and this knowledge is what I am here to provide you.
The sacred fourth trimester (3 months post-birth) is as important a time as the pregnancy to enhance, fortify, nourish, and replenish a mother’s body, as well as that of the rest of the family. How this period of time unfolds can have an enormous impact on how one ages in the next decade of life. Healthy, organic, home-cooked food is an investment for you, your newborn, the next baby if you choose to have one, and the rest of your life.
